LANCE WYMAN
With Lance Wyman, a world-renowned designer, we worked on the fusion of the modern with the traditional, adapting his ideas to the products that were manufactured and achieving a selection of pieces with high-end architectural finishes in fine tiles and, in addition, some other ornaments such as bowls and vessels.
Together participated in a collaboration that combines modern design with the tradition of Mexican popular art. It is a line of high-end architectural finishes in fine tiles that aims to become a reference in contemporary Mexican design; as well as a brief selection of ornamental pieces such as jars and large-format vases.
The collaboration was presented through a volumetric installation in the "Patio de los Leones" of the National Museum of Art, exhibited within the framework of the Mexican Open Design.
The initial core of the collection is made up of 40 tile models that add up to 130 different variants of use, as well as 2 models of jars. This will continue to grow, especially during the residency of Master Wyman at the Uriarte Talavera factory in Puebla.
